"Calma Tu Alma" is the latest project by Oliviera Renaldi, a masterful sculpture that exemplifies his skill in blending traditional religious iconography with contemporary artistic methods. The sculpture is a marble bas-relief, backlit to enhance its ethereal quality, measuring 5 meters by 3 meters. Crafted from white marble sourced from Vietnam, the piece is a striking representation of the moment of resurrection. A fusion between Christ Patiens and Christ Resurgens.
Renaldi's inspiration for "Calma Tu Alma" stems from one of the central messages of Christ: "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." This message is conveyed through the circular form of the sculpture, symbolizing divine perfection and eternity. The circular shape also underscores the principle of divinity and the timeless nature of peace.
